We then went to the meeting and my sister's friend asked me to sit with her to look ater her stepkids if she has to go out with the baby.
What actually happened is i was left holding the baby as she went out with the stepkids who were playing up.
I think it's actually impossible to continue having a temper tantrum when you're holding a baby.
Another reason to avoid them.
First thing out of my mouth is "Is it for a school project?"
"No it's for me."

You know at certain points in your life you wish fervently that your face is a better liar than you are and you crack that smile that's 2/3rds disbelief and 1/3 pure pain.
Then the world rights itself again as she adds
"well, my auntie is having a baby but she doesn't speak much english so have you got any with pictures?"

But as she walked away i thought isn't it sad that that wasn't automatically assumed that it was for someoen else. When ten year olsd are having children its surely time for a reality check

Growing up with me he's developed his own surreal sense of humour, love of the random and attitude of "yeah, and?"
He also works in an electronics store as a sales guy.
Normally he's pretty good at hiding his alter-ego but sometimes the sheer boredom threatens and he makes good. Here's an example he told me about from yesterday.
Sam- "Hello, C***** Electrical goods here, how can I help?"
Customer- Hi, I've just bought a PC and I want to know how old it is.
S- Ok, did you buy it second hand?
C- No.
S- So you bought it new.
C- No.
S-.... Where did you get it?
C- I bought it.
S- From where?
C- This guy at work.
S- Has he used it before?
C- Yeah.
S- So it's second hand.
C- I guess.
S- Rrrriiigght. Ok, Sir, what operating system is it using. Windows, Windows XP , linux?
C- I don't know.
S- When you turn it on, do you get the Microsft logo?
C- Its a flag.
S-.... Does it have a number? 98, 2000? 7? XP, Vista?
C- Don't know. I just want to know how old it is.
S- Ok, sir, you need to look for the Warranty Banana.
C- The what?
S- Ok, go to your harddrive and turn it around.
C- Ok.
S- Do you see screws on the back?
C- Yeah.
S- You need to undo those screws and open the back of your harddrive. I'll wait.
C-...
S-... Ok, sir, have you undone the back?
C- Yeah,
S- And can you see the Warranty Banana? If it's green your computer is less than a year old. If it's yellow, it's bwtween one and two years and if it's black then it's three years or older and you need to get a new PC. Are you looking for the Warranty Banana sir?
C- Yes but I can't see anything.
S- You are looking for the Warranty Banana?
C- Yes.
S- Inside your computer?
C- Yes, It's not there!
S- Ok, Sir, if you give me your name and number I may have to call you back.
Sam then goes to lunch and looks forward to teh guy calling back to ask another sales assistant about the Warranty Banana.
